We stayed for a week at Woodlands. Had a super time. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, lovely enclosed garden with covered hot tub. Plenty of choice for dog walks in the local area. The White Post cafe next door is a great bonus. Nice cooked breakfast. All in all a great place for a relaxing break.

Stayed for 3 nights recently. A lovely place for a chilled weekend away. The house has everything you need and the hot tub was a great addition after a day walking. The cafe 1 minute walk away does a great breakfast and the local pub is only a few minutes walk from the house. Had some fun times in the pub and met some lovely locals. Highly recommend it, will definitely be heading back for another visit

We can’t recommend Woodlands enough. The Grandparents were perfectly positioned in the ground floor bedroom, in fact the house is ideally appointed throughout. We didn’t miss anything from being away from home. We LOVED the garden, the play area and the amazing cafe next door. The views from the hot tub are gorgeous. We were all very sad to leave!

We have just come back from spending four nights at Woodlands Cottage and couldn't fault. Beautiful house, garden and hot tub. Enjoyed the walks that Liz had left directions for and recomendation for local cafe/shops and pub nearby.

We spent a long weekend at Woodlands and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and fantastically equipped. The location was perfect for what we wanted, being less than an hour from the Somerset and Jurassic south coasts, not much further for the North Devon coasts. There was a lovely pub in the town within a few minutes walk, and the White Post Cafe/ Garden Shop just up the lane. The whole process was made effortless through Liz's service and the information she provided. We'd happy stay again and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a break in Somerset.

Had a fantastic few days staying at woodlands. Very clean,great big kitchen dining area loved the log fire (all wood supplied) super bedrooms with showers and bath. Fantastic garden with hot tub covered of course so if it’s raining no problem. Recommend a local pub good food very friendly. Been a few times before we will return

Wonderful comfortable cottage. Well equipped, plenty of space , lovely wood stove and hot tub. It is in a lovely location with a great village pub serving great food. The owner is very helpful and even managed to return my glasses I left. You won't be disappointed with this cottage.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, lovely little get away equipped for all your needs. The pictures really do not do this place justice, so cosy & homely, yet spacious and country like. Cafe on site, 40 minute drive from Exeter, pub a small walk away & country walks on your door step! Perfect for all age groups and family sizes, you will not be disappointed - I promise! Would recommend and return.. thanks so much x
